About the Festival

Mintfest in and around Kendal three days at the end of August with over 70 acts. Loads of great shows on the streets plus a fire village at Nobles Rest Park by "Fire Village Royal" from Belgium. In the park we were entertained by a strange, comic live puppet theatre "Amortale" in an atmospheric circus tent from "Circus Ronaldo". "Tilted" performed "Seasaw" with its scenes played out in a progression from the Church and along the rivers edge, the audience traveling with the performance. The K Village supports Mintfest with family shows in the shopping outlet. Music, acrobatics, art and comedy were all present over this fun packed weekend.

Lakes Alive don't just produce Mintfest they also gave us Ilotope (Water Fools) at Keswick and On The Night Shift at Bowness.
