About the Festival

GDIF takes place in June 2013 with the main opening show on Friday evening, "As The World Tipped" by Wired Aerial Theatre, staged in front of the National Maritime Museum and "Faust" by Bad Taste Cru in front of the Cutty Sark. Saturday and Sunday continued with a wealth of performances in the main area at King Charles Lawn/Monument Gardens with satellite performances across the river (by tunnel) at the Island Fair in Island Gardens and at The Meridian Estate Play Site plus Greenwich Park. The dance had some great backdrops in Docklands. Closing was in Woolwich at the Royal Arsenal a week later with a great show performed with local talent, "One Million" presented by Tangled Feet.
